Never a Wasted Space
Downtown Kaohsiung. Corn. Tomatoes. Yep, it’s a vegetable garden complete with fence in the middle of downtown Kaohsiung. And it’s not just ONE person’s garden, but many people’s gardens. And not a single house attached.
I was once on the path of a (possibly successful) business career before I got sidetracked by a love of teaching. Now, I've "retired" from the workforce and am a stay-at-home mom (read: one income) with two toddlers. We've made some choices so that I can be at home with the kids in one of the most expensive cities in North America. But we're learning along the way that by changing our attitudes and changing how we spend, we can feel like we're living a luxurious life. And we are. We are so blessed. WAY MORE THAN WE DESERVE.
