Japanese Buffet

I love Taiwan for its many buffets. One of my favourites are the Japanese buffets where they bring the food to you. Eating indulgently and not having to move? Bring it on!

The best part of these buffets is getting to try strange foods without feeling like you were ripped off. The above is one such food I’m glad I didn’t technically have to pay for. They’re toast with ice cream in the middle. Good idea – except for the bad bread and the really hard ice cream that somehow kept freezing instead of melting as we ate.
