Flora & Fauna - September/October 2008
The snail that accompanied us to school
Honeycomb knocked out of a tree by Mr. Xie
Grapes from one of Kris' students - they're really expensive - and REALLY BIG!
I was once on the path of a (possibly successful) business career before I got sidetracked by a love of teaching. Now, I've "retired" from the workforce and am a stay-at-home mom (read: one income) with two toddlers. We've made some choices so that I can be at home with the kids in one of the most expensive cities in North America. But we're learning along the way that by changing our attitudes and changing how we spend, we can feel like we're living a luxurious life. And we are. We are so blessed. WAY MORE THAN WE DESERVE.
